Went to my first NBA game the other night. My boss at B&N had an extra ticket so I ended up seeing the Warriors and Suns from the first row in the second deck. The teams came into the game ranked No. 1 and No. 2 in points per game. The contest turned into a track meet -- fast. The Warriors led 72-63 at HALFTIME before pulling out a 129-114 win. I often flip through NBA games on TV, pausing occasionally, but to really appreciate Steve Nash, you need to see him in person.
Every time the Warriors would score, you couldn't even sit down again before Nash was finding an open teammate. After one Golden State score, the Suns made a 3-pointer with 22 seconds left on the shot clock. Absolutely ridiculous.
