Courtney and I trekked over to the Monterrey Market today. It was my first visit to the store which is known for its abundant and cheap produce and vegetables. We loaded up on about $17 worth of produce, including a seedless watermelon. We came home and I started cutting the watermelon then stopped, sniffed and stared a little. Instead of the standard pink inside, the watermelon was yellow and it smelled a little like pumpkin. After taking the first bite, I declared myself a yellow watermelon convert.
