I worked on Wednesday, so Courtney showed Q around the waterfront in San Francisco. On Thursday, he and I headed back across the Bay to check out the Golden Gate Bridge and Haight-Ashbury. The weather was pretty good as we headed across and caught a bus to the bridge. But when we hit Highway 101, the fog rolled in. By the time we got to the bridge, it was windy and plenty foggy. It made for cool pictures nonetheless.
Up a bit closer once we started walking across the bridge.
Bridge picture looking straight up.
We talked a bit about the bridge and Q mentioned a story he'd read in The New Yorker about suicide on the Golden Gate Bridge. Apparently people try to commit suicide on the bridge about every two weeks. Check out the story below, it's a good read.
