I'm constantly intrigued by the way sports and economics interact. Yes, the University of Nebraska has a self-funded athletic department that relies heavily on boosters and -- they claim -- doesn't take money from the academic side of things. The holes in that logic are a whole different post.
Anyway, Forbes compiled a listing of the 20 most valuable college basketball programs. North Carolina tops the list. Shocker, Nebraska isn't on there. It's worth a read.

They did the same thing for football programs earlier in the fall. Nebraska did make that list.
