When we moved in about six weeks ago (six weeks already!?!?!) we were given only one mailbox key and one apartment key. During the move, we misplaced the mailbox key and spent the next three weeks or so watching for the mailman and explaining that we'd lost our key and get our mail. So, we finally got our new mailbox key from maintenance and everything was fine.
Since we moved in, our garbage disposal had been making this really weird grinding noise whenever we would turn it on. After suffering through the noise, the disposal finally just stopped working. We put in a request to maintenance. The next day I come home to find a note written on a paper bag. Sitting next to the note is this:
The note read, "we found this in the disposal. In the future please be careful about what you put down the drain. By the way, wasn't this the mailbox key you said you'd lost?"
